Pursuant to subsection 50(1) of the Ports Management Act 2015 (NT), the waters surrounding berth No. 1 at East Arm Wharf (EAW) will be closed due to a joint USN and ADF operation from 1400 hours on 24th March 2025 to 1000 hours on 3rd April 2025.
The boundary of the closed area (exclusion zone) will be monitored by NT Police on 24/7 basis. Port users must follow the directions of NT Police. Failure to follow these directions may result in removal from the area and/or arrest.
The western boundary of the exclusion zone is 250m chainage mark along EAW (Point A), extending in a SSW direction to Point B, then SSE to point C, then ESE to Point D, before extending north to Point E. Please refer to the coordinates and map below:
• Point A - 12° 29’28” S. 130° 52’55” E
• Point B – 12o 29’31” S. 130° 52’53” E
• Point C - 12° 29’36” S. 130° 52’57” E
• Point D - 12° 29’38” S. 130° 52’ 05” E
• Point E – 12o29’33” S. 130o53’06” E
Persons and vessels are required to keep clear of the closed waters for security reasons.
