Landbridge is pleased to partner with this year’s Darwin Festival as a Distinguished partner and support the children’s show Witladla.

Witladla, was created and will be performed by Larrakia Elder Aunty June Mills. The show is for children aged five and under and follows the owl Witladla as he finds his lost necklace.

Managing Director for Landbridge in Australia, Mike Hughes, said Darwin Festival celebrates the unique and vibrant culture of the City.

“Landbridge is pleased to support the Festival for the fourth year running through our support of Witladla, he said.”

“Aunty June’s show is sure to be a treat for Darwin’s youngsters given it’s filled with original songs, puppets that reference Larrakia designs and fun interactions.

“We look forward to seeing them singing, dancing and enjoying the story of Witladla, he said.”

The DF20 program will include performances on the outdoor Sunset Stage, intimate theatre, accessible community activities and nightly entertainment in the Festival Park Hub.

Darwin Festival runs from 6-16 August with Landbridge supported Witladla taking place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August at 9.30am and 11am. For more information and to purchase tickets visit darwinfestival.org.au.
